Chapter 6: A Pirate’s Ambition
For the next few days, I was told to rest. The ship’s medic told me that there was no real damage, only a few bruises and sore bones that would last a while. But the captain would take no more chances and wanted me to stay in bed when I could. Growing up a pirate, I was no stranger to pain, but my brother wouldn't hear it.
